Need For Higher Levels Of Transnational Police Training In SVG

Inspector of Police Hawkins Nanton has pointed to the need for a higher level of training to better equip members of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force to fight trans-national crime.

He made the point during the Police On the Beat program aired on NBC Radio last week, which focused on the training component of the police force.

Inspector Nanton said training is crucial in the fight against trans-national crime throughout the region.

Station Sergeant Malam Cuffy of the Police Training School at Old Montrose, said the institution adapts to meet the demands of police officers.
