Ginger Village Roadwork Is Soon To Begin

Work on the bypass route in the Ginger Village Section of the Vigie Highway at Belmont, is expected to be begin by July of this year.

Word of this has come from Chief Engineer in the Ministry of Transport and Works Brent Bailey.

In September 2013, a landslide damaged sections of the Vigie Highway and since then a bypass route has been used to assist motorists traveling from the Mesopotamia Valley to Kingstown.

Mr. Bailey said the Ministry of Transport and Works will construct an additional bypass route to alleviate the traffic congestion which occurs on the current bypass.
