Breakaway Firms Weekend Football Results

Fisheries beat Subway Eat Fresh 4-nil yesterday in the Senior Division of the Digicel/St. Vincent Brewery Aeropost Breakaway Firms Invitational Football Championships at the Grammar School Playing Field.

The goal scorers were Daniel Patrick (2) and a goal each from Amal Stevens and Winston Harry.

On Saturday, ED Laynes defeated SVG Post 4-3. Jamal Yorke scored twice, while Delano Lewis and Diego Sutherland netted one each to secure victory for ED Laynes.

The goals for SVG Post were scored by Alvin Tommy (2) and Azinho Solomon.

Cammie Matthews netted a hat-trick, while Rohan Thomas Jr. and Kenny Glen scored one each as the Ministry of Education gained a 5-2 victory over Coreas/Hazells.

Coras/Hazells’ goals were scored by Jameal Campbell and Kizani Haynes.

Belfongo Youths and Layou played to a goalless draw in the Agricultural Input Warehouse Under-16 Division.

At 4:35 pm today, CWSA will the Ministry of Transport and Works also at the Grammar School Playing Field.
