Carib Warriors defeated Chapmans 4-2 on penalties following a 2-2 draw at the end of regulation time yesterday afternoon at the Chili Playing Field in Georgetown to advance to the semi-finals of the National Lotteries Authority North East Football.

Ray Jordan and Jamal Baptiste netted a goal each for Carib Warriors.

Nickron Lewis scored both goals for Chapmans.

This afternoon at a quarter past four, Brownstown Most Wanted will meet SV United (1) in the last quarter-final match also at the Chili Playing Field in Georgetown.


Je Belle FC and COMPUTEC VINCY Masters will clash in today’s 3rd quarter-finals match of the Sion Hill Football League from 4:30 pm at the Sion Hill Playing Field.

Sion Hill and Volcanoes FC will meet in the last quarter-final on Saturday.

The victory put Walvaroo City in Sunday’s semi-final against Uptown Rollers.

In the Firms League Senior Division semi-finals, Ministry of Education will tackle Fisheries at 3 pm and at 4:15 pm, CWSA will take on Transport and Works.

Today’s second match at 2:45 pm will be between Year Two Technical and Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies.
