RSVGPF On A Secure Christmas

The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force is urging all Vincentians, to make sure that their homes are secured, particularly during this holiday season.

Sergeant Thomas noted that there is usually a spike in burglaries at this time of year; and asked that people take extra precautions when leaving their homes.

Sergeant Thomas also recommended that people be careful when shopping in crowded areas, as pickpockets mainly work in areas with a multitude of people.

And Corporal Colin May of the Criminal Investigations Department of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force said children at home without their parents, must ensure that they know who is at the door before opening.

The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) will be hosting an exhibition this Friday, December 18th, with the aim of educating the public on crime prevention strategies.

Representatives of various Departments of the Police Force will be on hand to offer advice and answer any safety related questions the public may have.
