Public Service Football

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Inland Revenue Department gained narrow victories on Tuesday afternoon matches of the Public Service 5-a-Side, Small Goal Football Championship at the Grammar School Playing Field. The Ministry of Economic Planning and the Ministry of Housing won their matches by wider margins.

The Ministry of Agriculture suffered two defeats, beaten by Ministry of Foreign Affairs 1-0 after a goal by Rafeek Francis, and also defeated 1-0 by the Inland Revenue Department, Kalique Hunte converting the goal in that match

The Ministry of Economic Planning beat the Ministry of Health 2-0, with M. Davis and Paul Kirby scoring the goals.

The Ministry of Housing then fought back from 0-1 down to Treasury, to come away with a 4-1 victory. Jimmy Joshua converted an early penalty for Treasury, after which a goal each from Alric Williams and Asbert George, and two from Randy Pierre sealed the win for Ministry of Housing.
