SVG Senior Men’s Volleyball Placed 2nd In International Volleyball Federation’s World Championships

St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) Senior Men’s Team finished second in Group “B” of the NORCECA Zone of the International Volleyball Federation’s World Championships Qualifiers in St. Lucia on August 21st.

St. Kitts and Nevis had the better of SVG beating them in straight sets 25-19, 25-22, 25-22.

SVG went into the match undefeated after preliminary round victories over St. Kitts and Nevis 3-1, and Grenada 3-Love.

SVG won the most individual Awards at the Tournament. Team Captain, Cassius Franklyn emerged the Best Setter, one of the two Best outside Hitters and Best Receiver.

Shevron Cain received the Best Setter Award, and Brendon Smart was one of two recipients of the Best Blocker.
