Accolade Launch

Judy Boucher, Vincentian R&B singer, is the first Caribbean Artiste to be honored in St.Vincent and the Grenadines, through an Organisation called Accolade, which was founded by Arden Tannis – a retired police inspector, of A/A Tannis Promotions.

While speaking at this morning’s launch at the Peace Memorial Hall, Mr. Tannis said that Accolade was born out of the need for recognition of local artists.

Mr. Tannis also said that Accolade is not a product that seeks to enrich the promoters and encourage them to give back to the community.

Meanwhile, the National Broadcasting Corporation’s “National Medical Fund,” a charitable organization, established in 2004, stands to benefit from part of the proceeds of the event scheduled for this Saturday April 22nd at the Russell’s Auditorium.

Speaking at this morning’s Launch, Corletha Ollivierre, General Manager of the National Broadcasting Corporation, who highlighted the significance of the medical fund said that she is grateful to Accolade for their consideration.
