A health walk spearheaded by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Girl Guide Association will be held here this afternoon, as they Association joins with the global community in observing World Heart Day today.

The walk will involve Bim Bims, Brownie Guides, Girl Guides, Ranger Guides, Guiders and friends of the Girl Guides Association, who will be walking with the theme: My Heart, Your Heart.

The walk will start at the Arnos Vale Playing Field at 2:00pm, and end at the Victoria Park in Kingstown. The Girl Guides, Ranger Guides, Guiders and other adults will start at Arnos Vale, while the younger ones: the Bim Bims and Brownie Guides would join the walk from the Car Park of the E.T Joshua Airport.

The main call to action of this year’s activity is to encourage persons to make a heart promise to become more active and adopt healthier habits which would lead to enhanced cardiovascular health and productivity of citizens.

The Girl Guides Association is inviting the public to participate in this effort, as they strive to help develop a healthier population in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
