An appeal has been made for a greater level of compliance by persons in relation to the payment of fees to the Customs and Excise Department.
Supervisor at the Customs and Excise Department, Glendon Swift, spoke on the issue during the Police on the Beat programme aired on NBC Radio.
Mr. Swift urged persons to pay the necessary fees to ensure the continued development of the national economy.
Mr. Swift also warned that the Department has the authority to prosecute persons who submit false declarations to the Customs and Excise Department.
