The Dental Unit within the Ministry of Health is continuing to raise awareness about the importance of oral health, as part of Dental Health Awareness Week.
The week which began on Sunday is being observed under the theme “Good Oral Health the Gateway to a Healthier You”.
Dental Surgeon Dr. Rochelle King says developing good habits at an early age enables children to have healthy teeth and gums.
Dr. King says there has been an increase in tooth decay in children and she is urging parents to take their children to the Dentists regularly for their routine examination.
