The Fisheries Division in the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Transformation, Industry and Fisheries is currently preparing to embark on a Climate Change Adaptation project.
This was revealed by Chief Fisheries Officer, Jennifer Cruickshank Howard during an interview with NBC News.
Mrs. Cruickshank Howard said this program is being sponsored under the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Programme which forms part of the United Nations Developmental Programme.
She said they expect it to commence in July of this year.
Mrs. Cruickshank Howard also outlined the objectives of the Climate Change Adaptation project.
