Bernard Morgan, President of the SVG Red Cross Society met with various stakeholders to discuss its response to the disaster.
He said the Red Cross will be focusing on the immediate humanitarian issues.
These issues would include persons who are in emergency shelters and those who were affected to the extent where their houses were destroyed or damaged to a point where they cannot remain there.
Mr. Morgan stated that they are trying to analyze/evaluate the specific needs of these people to see how they could mount a response to help to come up with an action plan.
