Miss SVG 2015 – De Yonte Mayers Carnival Update
The newly crowned Miss SVG 2015 De Yonte Mayers won all judged categories of the show that was held at carnival city Victoria Park on the weekend. Ms. Mayers has reflected on her journey up to the time she was crowned winner of the pageant.
St. Georges Carnival Activities Update
Organizers of the St. Georges Carnival activities say plans are well underway for their 2015 activities which will take place this upcoming weekend. Chairman of the St. Georges Carnival Committee, Foster Hanibald said while they have faced a number of setbacks, this year’s program promises to be even better than previous editions.
Carnival Costumes And Mas Evolution
Local Costume Designer Julian ‘Pilling’ Pollard has referred to the way in which Carnival Costumes have evolved and changed dramatically over the years. Carnival Activities Update
Members of the public will be in a festive mood this weekend with a number of events hosted as part of the 2015 edition of Vincy Mas. Activities for Central Leeward Carnival will wrap up on the weekend and the first annual mas launch will be held at Carnival City Victoria Park on May 23rd.
