Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has commended Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister-Elect, Dr. Keith Rowley and the People’s National Movement’s (PNM), for their 2015 general election victory last evening.
During an interview with NBC News this morning, Prime Minister Gonsalves said the PNM won 23 of the 41 constituencies and described this as a solid victory.
The Prime Minister said he is confident that the close ties between St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago will continue to deepen.
Prime Minister Gonsalves added he expects Prime Minister-Elect, Dr. Rowley to be a strong advocate for regional integration, as well as other issues of bilateral relations between St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago.
