The Final Voters List for the 2015 General Elections will be posted on Monday November 30th.
This was disclosed by Supervisor of Elections, Sylvia Findlay, as she discussed ongoing preparations for the December 2015 Poll, during NBC’s Views On Issues programme on Sunday.
Ms. Findlay explained that the final Voters List is the one that will be used on Election Day.
And Vincentians who intend to vote in the December 9th General Elections are being assured that mechanisms are in place to verify their identity on Polling Day, if they are not in possession of their identification card.
The assurance came from Registering Officer at the Electoral Office, Charles Samuel, during the Views On Issues programme aired on NBC Radio on Sunday.
Mr. Samuel said while an identification card is not necessary, having one on hand will help to significantly improve the operations at the various polling stations on elections day.
Mr. Samuel is also urging persons to ensure that their names are listed correctly on the voters list.
