Officials from the Ministry of Health Wellness and the Environment say they are continuing to make strides in developing programs to improve their capacity to monitor Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases (CNCD’s) and their risks factors.
This assurance was given by Head of the Health Information Unit, Dr. Jennifer George, who said that they are continuing to conduct the National Health and Nutrition Survey.
She said two programs have already been held under the three-step survey and the work is progressing smoothly.
She added that the survey is important as this country moves to enhance its capacity to tackle these diseases.
