As the global community observes Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention month in April, the local police force has renewed its commitment to addressing the issue of child abuse here.
The issue was discussed during the Police on the Beat programme aired on NBC Radio last night, with emphasis on Child Abuse and Prevention – ‘Making a big difference all year round’.
The global campaign is a community wide effort to recognize our collective responsibility to prevent and confront all forms of child abuse and neglect.
