Minister of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries Saboto Caesar says the fisheries sub-sector suffered damage and loss to the tune of over 300-thousand dollars, during the floods of December 2013.
Minister Caesar made the disclosure, as he responded to a question in Parliament last week.
He noted that the overall impact on the fishing industry was relatively small.
Minister Caesar said steps are being taken to provide assistance to the Fisherfolk who were affected by the floods.
