Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has urged heads of Social Security of CARICOM to fully exploit the opportunities available for co-operation at the regional level.
The Prime Minister gave the words of encouragement, as he delivered the feature address at the opening this morning of the 25th Meeting of Heads of social Security of CARICOM.
Dr. Gonsalves noted that the social security system in the region faces many challenges in the current global financial environment, but he noted that there are also opportunities and possibilities. The Prime Minister also pointed out that social security systems in the region face constraints in relation to investment.
The meeting is taking place at the NIS Conference facility
