The National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC) is hosting its Second Annual Idea and Innovation Competition known as the I2 Competition.

The Competition is geared at allowing students from Secondary and Tertiary level Institutions to put forward ideas that can implement new systems or improve existing systems in the current departments within the Public service and other state agencies that provide services to the public.

Through the I2 competition, students will be challenged to develop and present projects in the form of Ideas and Mobile Applications.   The I2 competition would be held from September 11th 2014 to the 15th of January 2015.

All Secondary Schools, Technical Institutes, all divisions of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College and the Medical Colleges are allowed to enter the I2 competition and will be judged in separate categories.

A launching ceremony to announce the beginning of the I2 competition will be held on September 11th the Community College at Villa beginning at 10am.

The Main addresses will be made by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade, Commerce and Information Technology, Camillo Gonsalves.
