The local Police Force is reminding organizers of parties and promoters of events that they must comply with the Noise Control Act or face the prospect of having their events forcibly terminated.
The warning came from Police Inspector Hawkins Nanton, during the On the Beat programme on Monday night.
Inspector Nanton said the Police often receive reports of promoters playing loud music during the early hours of the morning.
