A number of local poets will be rewarded this year as the UWI open camps partners with the Vincentian Association of Artists, Writers and Producers Inc. to host the Annual National Literary Fair.
Speaking at a media briefing yesterday President of the Vincentian Association of Artists, Writers and Producers Inc. Rene Baptiste listed the poets who will be rewarded this year.
Miss Baptiste said tribute will also be paid to British poet Felix Dennis, a resident of St. Vincent and the Grenadines who passed away earlier this year.
This year’s Literary Fair is expected to take place from October 16th -18th under the theme “Travelling the World through Reading”.
