Sehon Marshall Introduced As Deputy Consul General To Vincentians In New York

This country’s new Deputy Consul General in New York, Sehon Marshall was officially introduced to Vincentians living in New York, Sunday, pledging to perform his duties in a professional manner.

Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves introduced Mr. Marshall at a Town Hall Meeting held at the Friends of Crown Heights Community Centre in Brooklyn.

The Prime Minister said Mr. Marshall has acquired a set of experiences and Training which makes him eligible for the job.

Meanwhile … In his address, Mr. Marshall said he is honoured to be chosen by the Government to be a Consular representative in New York.
He replaces Edson Augustus who was recalled from his post in February this year.

During the Town Hall Meeting the Prime Minister provided Vincentians with an update on progress being made in a number of key sectors here.

A Certificate of Appreciation was also presented to Vaughn Toney for his outstanding support and contribution to the developmental agenda of SVG in the diaspora.

And … Calypsonians Winston Soso and Cyril Scorcher Thomas were named Cultural Ambassadors by Prime Minister Gonsalves at yesterday’s meeting.
