The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Diaspora Committee of New York has extended congratulations to Calypsonians Syril “Scorcher” Thomas, and Winston Soso on their appointment as Cultural Ambassadors of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
In making the announcement at a recent Town Hall Meeting in Brooklyn, New York, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said both men have been accorded the honor of Cultural Ambassadors in recognition for their immense contributions over the years.
The Diaspora Committee says Syril Thomas and Winston Soso truly deserve this honor and it looks forward to working with them to promote Vincentian cultural arts throughout the world.
The two men now have the privilege to carry a Diplomatic Passport of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
