Vincentians are being encouraged to develop and implement emergency plans for their families, to mitigate the risk of disasters.
The advice came from Sergeant Paul Smart of the Fire Department of the Police Force, during the On the Beat programme aired on NBC Radio on Monday night.
Sergeant Smart said it is important that persons take the necessary precautions to protect their lives and property.
