Minister of Tourism, Sports and Culture, Cecil Mckie said the Government continues to build a calendar of activities which will ensure that there are activities for visitors and locals alike throughout the entire year.
He made this statement during the National Heroes Day Festival which held in Fancy last Saturday March 14th, National Heroes Day.
This year’s event was a celebration of the lives of the students who died in the Rock Gutter accident on January 12th and was held under the theme: Tribute To Our Fallen Heroes.
Minister Mckie said they want to focus on the potential for the development of the Tourism products which exists in the Fancy Festival.
He also outlined a number of the months which already have programs for the annual tourism calendar.
Minister Mckie said the annual calendar of activities is developing well and they want to ensure that this is spread throughout the entire country.
