Minister of Education, Girlyn Miguel has stressed that the Government’s continued push in the area of Education is aimed at ensuring holistic development for the nation and its citizens.
She made this statement while delivering remarks at the presentation ceremony held yesterday for four hundred and fifteen students to receive scholarships from the Republic of China on Taiwan to pursue Education at the Primary, Secondary and Tertiary levels.
Minister Miguel said Taiwan continues to illustrate its commitment to the educational development of Vincentians.
She further gave the commitment that her Ministry will continue to work to ensure that there are high returns on the Investments which are made by Taiwan for the educational advancement of Vincentians.
Minister Miguel said Education remains at the core of National Development and economic growth and she noted that the Government will continue to place high emphasis on Educating Vincentians.
