The Avenues Dancers an existing dance company of 30 years will travel to Trinidad and Tobago next Wednesday, October 12 to participate in a Dance and Cultural Exchange Workshop.
According to the Searchlight Newspaper, Bridgette John, Head Choreographer said that this is the first time her dance troupe has had an opportunity to participate in such an event.
The Avenue Dancers has performed on stage as back up dancers for former Soca Monarch Delroy ‘Fireman’ Hooper. This year, the dancers also performed with reigning Ragga Soca Monarch Chewalee Johnson.
