The St. Vincent Grammar School’s Caleb Howard won the Secondary Schools Singles Table Tennis Title yesterday when he defeated defending champion, Andre Mitchell also of the Grammar School in the Final at the Girls Guide Headquarters at Kingstown Park. Howard won the match 9/11, 11/6, 3/11, 11/6, 14/12. Mitchell was attempting to win his 4th consecutive title. Howard was the Primary Schools Champion in 2015 and 2016.

Julia Nichols of the Bequia Community High School won the Secondary Schools Girls Singles Championship after beating Alika Miller also of the Bequia Community High 11/6, 11/1,11/6 in yesterday’s Final.

Ezer Lucas of the Bequia Anglican Primary School took the Primary Schools Boys Singles Title by beating Kristian Christopher of the Layou Government School 11/9,11/7,11/7.

The Primary Schools Girls Singles Title was won by Kiara Hazell of Lower Bay Primary School who defeated Valencia Gordon of New Prospect Primary 11/6, 11/6,11/3.

The St. Vincent Grammar School defeated Adelphi Secondary School 3-0 for the Secondary Schools Boys Team Title, with the Bequia Anglican Primary School beating the Layou Government School 3-2 to clinch the Primary Schools Boys Team Championship.

Caleb Howard of the Boys Grammar School was adjudged the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the Secondary Schools Championship. Ezer Lucas of the Bequia Anglican Primary won the award as the MVP for Primary Schools Boys, with Cheyenne Peters of New prospect Primary wining the award for Primary School Girls.
