The Pan Against Crime Committee will bring the curtain down on its 10th anniversary celebrations this year, with a Christmas Concert in the Marriaqua Valley tomorrow.

The Committee will collaborate with the Police Band to stage the event from 6:30pm.

The concert will be staged at the junction opposite the Police Station in Mesopotamia beginning with songs of worship, followed by an Exhortation by Pastor Nolan James of the New Testament Church of God Mesopotamia.

Music and cultural performances will come from the Mesopotamia Steel Orchestra and Marriaqua Gov’t School. And, the Police Band will present its an entertaining musical Christmas package.

Members of the audience will also be given an opportunity to showcase their talent during an open segment of the program.  Representatives of the National Commission on Crime Prevention, NCCP, and the RSVG Police Force will bring remarks, while Parliamentary Representative for the Area, St. Clair Jimmy Prince, will deliver a short Address.

This Concert culminates activities staged this year by the PAC Committee, to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The PAC Programme was launched in February 2008, and to date has established new steel bands in some 15 Communities and Schools throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
