Executive Director of the World Pediatric Project (WPP), Lauren McIntosh, said investments in the health and well-being of the nation’s children is crucial towards ensuring sustainable development.
She made the point while addressing the launch of the WPP’s Every Child Counts Campaign, at the Bungalow in Villa on Tuesday night.
Miss McIntosh said every effort must be made to that children are given every opportunity to make a positive contribution to the development of their country.
And, Miss McIntosh appealed to individuals and businesses to work with the WPP in raising funds to sustain the programme.
