Police have arrested and charged Clinton Terrance Dasent, 33-years-old Labourer of Kelbourney with Deception, Indecent Assault and Rape on 19.07.19.
According to investigations, the accused allegedly deceived a 32-year-old female and had unlawful sexual intercourse with her, who at the time of the intercourse did not consent to it.
The accused also indecently assaulted the Virtual complainant. The incident occurred on 16.07.19.
Dasent is expected to appear before the Family Court to answer the charges.
Meanwhile … Thirty-six year old Cordwell James, of Ashton Union Island has been arrested and charged with unlawful possession of ammunition on 19.07.19.
According to investigations, James was allegedly met in possession of one round of .38 ammunition without a license issued under the firearm act; and five rounds of .22 ammunition without a license issued under the firearm act. The incident occurred at Ashton, Union Island on 16.07.19.
James is expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court to answer the charge.
