Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said the Government will be seeking to have the elderly and families with young children who have had to be evacuated stay in Hotels and Guest Houses during the current volcanic eruption at La Soufriere.
He made this statement over the weekend at the Thomas Saunders Secondary School Emergency Shelter as he prepared to head out to visit Emergency Shelters across the country.
The Prime Minister said they have organized for the booking of 800 rooms to be used by the elderly and families with young children.
