The Judicial Services in St. Vincent and the Grenadines are expected  to benefit from the provisions of the Courts of Justice Fees Bill, which was passed in Parliament here last week.

The point was made by Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Keisal Peters, as she contributed to debate on the  Bill, during last week’s session of Parliament.

Minister Peters said the Bill provides for the establishment of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court Improvement and Administrative Fund, which would facilitate financing of various development initiatives in the Judicial sector.

Minister Peters said the Fund will also be used to provide modern equipment for the Courts.
