Former Parliamentarian and Minister of Government Randolph Russell will receive a State Funeral on Wednesday.
Mr. Russell who served as Minister of Health in the former Labour Party administration, died in Barbados on Friday October 13th at the age of 86.
His body will lie in Parliament from 10am to 1pm on Wednesday. The procession will then leave the House of Assembly from 1:00 p.m. to the St. Georges Cathedral, where the service will commence at 2:00 p.m. Interment at the Church Yard.
Mr. Russell, owner of the Russell’s Mall at Stoney Ground, represented the constituency of East Kingstown from about 1972 to about 1984.
