A two-member delegation will represent St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the 37th General Conference of UNESCO, which is to take place in Paris, France from the November 5th to 20th.
The Vincentina delegation will comprise Minister of Education and Chair of the UNESCO National Commission here, Girlyn Miguel and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Nicole Bonadie-Baker, who currently serves as the Deputy Chair of the UNESCO National Commission
Secretary General of the UNESCO National Commission, Janiel Henry said issues concerning all affiliated countries will be highlighted at the Conference, and plans for the next two years will also be discussed.
Ms. Henry said there will also be elections to fill positions on various committees of UNESCO.
