The University of the West Indies Cave Hill campus has nominated Vincentian Teacher Anoria Simmons as C of the month for October 2013.

A release from the UWI Cave Hill Campus says Mrs. Simmons was nominated, after receiving the United Kingdom’s Award Primary School Teacher of the Year Award, for her outstanding contribution to Education.

The UWI Cave Hill Campus Alumna Awards, launched in 2008, recognize the achievement of excellence of Graduates of the Cave Hill Campus who have brought exceptional honor and prestige to the University, through exemplary personal and professional service to their Alma Mater.

Mrs. Simmons joins thirteen persons across the Caribbean, on the UWI Alumni honor roll, carrying the total number to fourteen.
