Minister of Health Wellness and the Environment Clayton Burgin will host a News Conference tomorrow to brief the nation on the response of the Health Sector to the devastation caused by recent floods and landslides.

A release from the Ministry says the Briefing will outline the actions taken in the sector in the aftermath of the weather event, which had a negative impact on the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, as well as rural Hospitals and Clinics.

Tomorrow’s News Conference will also hear presentations from Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health Luis De Shong; Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Simone Keizer-Beache; Chief Nursing Officer, Peggy Da Silva; Psychologist Dr. Jozelle Miller and Director of Environmental Management Jeneel Miller-Findlay.

The Briefing is scheduled to begin at nine-thirty tomorrow morning at the Conference Room of the Ministry of Health.
