The Division of Technical and Vocational Education of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines community college today officially received a state of the art Computer Lab, compliments the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission NTRC.
The Laboratory was constructed under the SMART project with funding from the Universal Service Fund.
The SMART project was implemented to facilitate the necessary infrastructure at the Community College to enable it to offer existing courses and programs online and in real time.
Speaking at this morning’s handing over Dean of the Division of Technical and Vocational Education Osborne Bowens said he is pleased with the implementation of the project.

Meanwhile … Minister with responsibility for Information Technology, Senator Camillo Gonsalves said persons are paying too much for internet services, and has called for a reduction in the rates.
