Debate on the 2014 National Budget wound up today, with Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves delivering concluding remarks

Debate on the 2014 National Budget wound up today, with Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves delivering concluding remarks.

In his wind-up, the Prime Minister touched on a range of issues, including the ongoing National Recovery Effort, the International Airport at Argyle and the Banana Industry.




The Prime Minister noted that there has been some improvement in the Banana Industry, and Farmers will receive financial support this year.

Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, winding up debate on the National Budget.

The 2014 Appropriation Bill was passed by Parliament, in the absence of Members of the Opposition, who had left the Assembly Chamber, at the start of the Prime Minister’s wind up.

Parliament has adjourned until.
