The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines is continuing to receive an outpouring of support to the national recovery effort in the aftermath of the December 24th floods.
Yesterday, there was a donation of 40 thousand EC dollars from the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football through the local Football Federation.
President of the Football Federation Venold Combs made the presentation in the form of a cheque to Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves at a brief ceremony at Cabinet Room yesterday afternoon.
Mr. Combs said the Football Fraternity is pleased to be able to contribute to the uplifting of those who suffered as a result of the trough system.
