Kineke Alexander was named this country’s Athlete of the Year for 2013 at the Team Athletics SVG Awards Ceremony on Saturday at Frenches House here in Kingstown.
Alexander received the Stephen Joachim Trophy at the Ceremony.
Other Awards were Junior Female Athlete of the year 2013 Shafiqua Maloney, Junior Male Athlete of the year Roberto Boyde, Senior Female Athlete of the year Kineke Alexander, Senior Male Athlete of the year veteran distance Pamenos Ballantyne. He received the President Keith Joseph Award.
