Shné Joachim and Nikolas Sylvester won the Girls and Boys categories respectively of the recently Bank of Nova Scotia and LIME St Vincent and the Grenadines Amateur Swimming Association Titles categories held at the Shrewsbury Pool facility at Ratho Mill.
The event featured over 70 young Swimmers in age categories ranging from Under-6, Under-15 and over.
The event saw a number of new National Records. The overall winners were the Club Competition won by Black Sands Swim Squad.
This was the first official Swimming Competition for the year. The year 2014 will be an extremely busy year for Swimmers here.
The next major Competition is the Barbados National Championships at the Aquatic Centre’s 50- metre pool in Wildey, from March 7th to 9th which will be a major test for Swimmers here.
