CGM Gallagher Novice, D’ Twelve, Owia Young Strikers and the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police recorded victories at the weekend in the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Co-operative Credit Union Clinchers Twenty/20 Softball Cricket Championship at the Richland Park Oval Playing Field.

On Saturday, CGM Gallagher Novice defeated Fully Loaded by 72 runs. SCORES: Novice 118 off 20-overs; Saville Phillips 3 for 4, Dwayne Williams 3 for 16, Fully Loaded 46 off 13-overs.

The other match on Saturday between Country Meets Town Out-Ah-Trouble and Glen United was re-scheduled following a request from one of the teams.

On Sunday, D’ Twelve eked out a one run win over We Don’t Care. The scores: D’ Twelve 120 off 20-overs; Lois Haywood 44; Devon Trimmingham 3 for 29, We Don’t Care 119 off 19.2-overs; Marlon Ottley 2 for one.

Owia Young Strikers inflicted a six-wicket win over the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police. SCORES: Police 64 off 15.3-overs; Randell Munroe 3 for 3, Raymond Yorke 3 for 17, Owia Young Strikers 65 for 4 off 6.1-overs; Osrick James 3 for 36.

And, the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police beat the Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines All Stars by six wickets in their second match of the day. The scores: All Stars 93 off 16-overs; Osrick James 3 for 15, Roderick John 3 for 23, Police 94 for 4 off 12.1-overs; Renrick Cato 29.
