Smashers, Country Meets Town Out-A-Trouble, CGM Novice and D’12 won matches last weekend in the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Co-operative Credit Union Clinchers Twenty/20 Softball Cricket Championship at the Richland Park Oval Playing Field.
Smashers defeated Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines All Stars by five wickets. SCORES: All Stars 99 off 15-overs; St. Clair Dickson 3 for 7, Romario Peters 3 for 15, Smashers 101 for five off 18-overs; Sheroy Ellis 34, Glenford Woodley 26.
Country Meets Town Out-A-Trouble beat Glen United by six wickets. Glen United 56 for; Marcus Hackshaw 3 for 33, Country Meets Town Out-A-Trouble 58 for 4 off 7.3-overs.
D’12 were awarded the match against ASCO because ASCO did not have new balls for the D’12 innings. ASCO made 130 off their 20-overs.
And, CGM Gallagher Novice won from Better Brands Supreme by 26 runs.
Novice 133 off 20-overs; Rohan Dowers 34; Donaldson Harry 4 for 33, Better Brands Supreme 107 off 20-overs; Kimani Thomas 3 for 7.
