A strong appeal has gone out for more financial support from local Churches for the Annual Gospel Festival.
The appeal came from Chairman of the Gospel Fest Committee Fidel Taylor, during his remarks at the launch of the 2014 edition of Gospel Fest on Sunday at the Victoria Park.
Mr. Taylor noted that the Government continues to supply most of the funds needed to funding needed to stage the Gospel Festival each year.
He said the Churches need to give more financial support to the Festival.

The SVG Gospel Fest is a month long festival of zonal and national gospel showcases across St. Vincent and the Grenadines with performances in music, song, dance and drama.
It will culminate with the National Gospel Showcases on April 27th at the Victoria Park.
The 2014 Festival is being held under the theme: Experiencing The Power of God.
