The local lion’s movement yesterday received a cheque valued ten thousand EC dollars from Q-care Pharmacy.
The cheque was presented to President of the Lions Club South Ronald Christopher by Pharmacist Orlet Bullock at the launch of activities to celebrate fifty years of lionism in SVG.
Mr. Christopher expressed gratitude to Q-care Pharmacy for the donation and said it will go towards service to the Vincentian population.
And Chairman of Region three, Lion Junior Bacchus disclosed that the decision has already been made to use the monetary donation to provide assistance to farmers and fisher folk affected by the December 2013 floods.
