Ronnessa John defeated Modica Bascombe 6-LOVE, 6-2 yesterday in the Girls Under-18 Singles Round Robin on Day (2) of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Lawn Tennis Association Easter Junior Tournament at the National Tennis Center in Villa.
Earlier, in the Boys Under-18 Singles Round Robin, Anton Lewis whipped Ronard Lewis 6-LOVE, 6-LOVE, while, Arnel Horne defeated Ronnie Richardson 6-2, 6-4, Akeem Guy beat Luke Browne 6-LOVE, 6-LOVE, Anton Lewis edged past Carmond Murray 6-LOVE, 6-LOVE and Akeem Guy defeated Khamisi Bascombe 6-1, 6-LOVE.
In the Girls Under-16 Singles Round Robin, Myca Williams powered past Rachael Ollivierre 6-LOVE, 6-1, Luka Lyttle defeated Jolene Providence 6-LOVE, 6-1, Denee Lyttle beat Morennel Ollivierre 6-LOVE, 6-LOVE, while Luka Lyttle ousted Myca Williams 6-1, 6-LOVE, Jolene Providence edged out Rachel Ollivierre 6-LOVE, 6-LOVE, Denee Lyttle beat Beyonce Winter-Dabreo 6-1, 6-LOVE, Morennel Ollivierre got past Krisma Gordon 6-1, 6-1.
Miguel Francis defeated Malcolm Winter-Da Breo 6-4, 5-7, 7-5, while Taj Ballantyne beat Luke Browne 6-2, 6-2, Arnel Horne whipped Khamisi Bascombe 6-1, 6-LOVE, Richard Hoyte edged Carmond Murray 6-1, 6-LOVE, and Luke Browne swamped Ronard Joseph 6-LOVE, 6-LOVE in the Boys Under-16 Singles.
In the Boys Under-14 Singles Round Robin, Malcolm Winter-Da Breo beat Axl Sam 4-LOVE, 4-LOVE, while Ariel Ryan defeated Nikalette Hadaway 4-2, 4-3, Beyonce Winter-Da Breo edged Krima Gordon 4-LOVE, 4-LOVE and Krisma Gordon had a 4-LOVE, 4-LOVE win over Zonte Yearwood.
And in the Boys Under-10 Singles Round Robin, Riley Delany defeated James Mitchell-Joseph 4-1, 4-1, Noah Hadley edged Jaeden Williams 4-LOVE, 4-1, Khaleffe Sheen beat Noah Hadley 4-1, 4-LOVE, Riley Delany cruised past Jaeden Williams 4-LOVE, 4-LOVE and Khaleffe Sheen ousted James Mitchell-Joseph 4-2, 4-2.
