St. Vincent and the Grenadines advanced to the semi-finals of the Male Division of the Eastern Caribbean Youth Volleyball Championship in Antigua on Thursday morning with a 3-1 victory over Grenada, 19-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-21 and a 3-LOVE win over Antigua and Barbuda on Thursday evening 25-22, 25-22, 28-26.
They must now await the result of today’s match between Bermuda and Grenada to determine their semi-final opponents.
St. Lucia already through to the semi-finals will meet either French St. Martin or Antigua and Barbuda.
Also on Thursday, in the Female Division, St. Vincent and the Grenadines came from 10-20 down in the first set to beat Antigua and Barbuda 3-Love, 26-24, 25-23, 25-21 and beaten by St. Lucia 3-LOVE, 25-23, 25-15, 25-14 on Sunday.
St. Vincent and the Grenadines should have played their last preliminary match in the Female Division today.
The Championships will climax tomorrow night with the Finals of both Divisions.
